Today is May 25, 2021, and here at Pine Near, we are clipping, picking, chipping, and mowing, getting ready to pull the trigger on the summer camping season. Memorial Weekend is the official kickoff, and it is just a few days away.

Not the day itself, Memorial Day is the day we set aside to reflect on the men and women who gave their lives in defense of our freedom and the American way of life. Things may not be perfect in America, but America is the best yet. Thanks to all who served, and it is with unspeakable gratitude that we reflect and remember those who gave their very lives that we might have the freedom we do!

Memorial Weekend puts the gray days of winter behind us, blooming flowers around us and long hot summer days ahead for us. Memorial Weekend means the mice have moved out of the travel trailers, the tarps have been stored away, and we are ready to make some memories, burn some campfires, share some stories with friends and soak up some sun and fun with our loved ones.

At Pine Near RV Park and Campground, we are ready for you. Anna still runs the show and will be by to greet you. Alex, Haley, David, Colleen, Letty, Mihayla, Diana and Stacy will be here to meet your needs and doing the work, so you don’t have to. If you need anything, these folks are here to help.
